我们的歌,大家唱!

Attended this event on last Saturday.

It was really spectacular and enjoying to participate in this large group sing-a-long session, with a crowd of about 2000 people at the Creative Amphitheatre!

Thanks pals for joining me in this event! I believe you have enjoyed yourself too!

Old Memories

Was sorting out some old newsletters at my workplace and came across some photos of myself in them...

Skit Performances! Started performing a few skits for some of the corporate events within the first 3 years when I joined the company
One of the dept outings
This was a memorable event when our Choir group get to sing to all our distinguished guests during our 30th anniversary event.... I remembered the whole venue setup was very nice, with a swamp theme, and we got to stand on those scaldfold and planks structures (similar to a kelong like that) and sang our hearts out! Very glamourous nite indeed!

Inter-Group/Dept Netball Match! Never ever played netball during school days, hence felt proud to have opportunities playing in my worklife, and teamed-up together with some of my officers who I have admired...: )

Another participation of the Dept events after I got my transfer to another new Group
Those were the days............ my good old memories that filled part up of my life journey....

Mother's Day Celebration

Supposed to hold our Mother's Day Celebration Dinner at the House of Seafood @ 180, but unfortunately, have to cancel the booking because Andy was not feeling well on that day.

So, we decided to just hold a 'domestic' celebration dinner by bringing MIL to the Seoul Yummy @ Novena Square 2. Actually, it was just an excuse from us to bring her there to try out the korean dishes, as I was craving for the hotpot octopus.... hahaha...

MIL enjoyed the food, especially the Grilled Saba fish! The fish meat was sweet and tasty. GK had also enjoyed themselves with the Kimchi Fried Rice and the bonus was the ice cream dessert and waffles!

It was a special Mother's Day for me this year, as i received a greeting card from GK, plus a pair of earrings from hubby! So long never receive gifts from hubby liao, and this one was really a pleasant surprise! Thanks, my sons and hubby! You have given me a wonderful Mother's Day this year!

Blading @ East Coast (9 May 09)

Grasshopper (草蜢) at Jurong Point (8 May 09)

Last Friday, was dining at Jurong Point when I was drawn to a commotion.... OMG... The Grasshopper!

They were there at Jurong Point to publicise their next day's concert - Grasshopper Right Now Concert 2009 at the Indoor Stadium.

Wow, their popularity was still very high mann... the fans from the fan club, so many holding the posters waiting to go up the stage to get their autographs, and those onlookers around the stage, they had blocked the entire passage way, and the human traffic were totally to a standstill...and looking up, the 2nd and 3rd level were all full of crowds looking down at the stage, screaming and cheering along...

So happy to get a picture of my school-days Idol! Yippee!

Inter-Agency Dragon Boat Race (26 April 09)

Almost forget to update one of the important events in my life!
Joined in for 2 sessions of training to get the feel of being of a Drummer in a Dragon Boat team. So far, quite enjoying; especially the boat-rocking sensation and free face-washing from the reservoir water, and free bananas and H2O istonic drinks...
The Inter-Agency race was held at the Bedok Reservoir. We participated in 2 races; one Heat and one Grand Final. Our team achieved good timing in one of the Heats, and went in to the Grand Final. This Grand Final was very thrilling and full of excitement! Cos' it's a die-die must win a place in the top 3 among the 6 finalists, otherwise, will go home empty-handed...
Yes! We did it! 1st Runner-Up in the Grand Finals, beating MND, PA, PUB and HDB! Hurray!
And team members posing and walking home with a Silver Medal each!

Great Effort! Well Done!

Dinner at Seoul Yummy Korean Casual Dining (1 May 09)

On the Labour Day, had a dinner night-out at the Novena Square 2, and labouriously working out my stomach to fill it up with deliciously Korean cuisine.

Truely yummy...............

K posing with the Kimchi Fried Rice (spicy) which he ordered...such a large plate, that it's more than enough to share among the 5 of us....

The hotpot Bulgogi, Spicy Rice Cake, Grilled Salmon, Grilled Eel Bibimbab, Kimchi Bibimbab, Kimchi Soup, Hotpot Octopus, Seaweed Soup and Side Dishes comprising Steamed Peanuts, Apple Salad, Kimchi, Ikan Bilis, etc.

Wow, what a long feast-table we had occupied.....
This restaurant is highly recommended; for its quality food, wide variety of selection for the food, good service and friendly staff!
